The face of the Classic Master is dominated by a traditional two part dial with a hammered base plate and a brushed chapter ring with a printed railroad index. Separated at 9 oclock the small seconds turns in its own subdial section. The dial is completed by a set of polished blued hands, made famous by watchmakers of the 19th century as a sign of exceptional craftmanship.
The ST-3600 is a mechnical movement following the design of the Unitas 6497, a famous Swiss movement. Produced by Seagull, this hommage movement features 17 jewels, a three-bridge design with a Côtes de Genève finishing and polished angles. The movement has additionally a swan neck regulator, visible on top of the balance cock. With its power reserve, the movement will roughly run for 48-50 hours before it needs rewinding.
For the chosen dial and hands, we needed a similarly classic and timeless case. However, while we relied on familiar designs for the case, we did not for get to add some modern elements to ensure suitability for everyday wear.
As a mechanical movement needs winding, the case is completed by a knurled, easy to use crown. While the case surfaces on flanks, lugs and bezel are brushed, the lower lips of top and bottom part of the case are polished.
The Classic Master is completed by an Italian leather strap with quick release spring bars and a polished buckle. The strap is made from cow hide with a soft anti allergic lining, measuring a width of 22mm.
